Irish Economic Policy for the Crisis: What Next?

Yesterday Trinity College Dublin and the Dublin Economics Workshop hosted a conference on “Irish Economic Policy for the Crisis: What’s Next”. Topics included competitiveness, pensions, fiscal policy and the banks. The speakers and their presentations were engaging and thought provoking prompting lots of debate and. Smart Taxes were interested and heartened to hear the presenters speaking positively regarding the introduction of alternative taxes, especially land tax.
